The Rams played a hard fought match on Saturday, with the game going down to the final minutes.
The girls worked tirelessly for four quarters, leaving nothing in the tank.
Lucy Pitt combined well with Katie Arandt in defence, putting relentless pressure on the Congupna goalers.
The Rams’ defensive pressure through the mid-court made transition difficult for the opposition team, with numerous forced turnovers by Stella White.
Tess Parsons played a strong and consistent game in goals.
Unfortunately the girls fell short at the final whistle but overall a promising game for the Rams.

The girls faced one of the top two teams, and with two key players away, it was a tough match.
It was great to see some drills and game plays that are being worked on at training each week being implemented.
Eliza Atley showed discipline in her play at both ends of the court and was a fierce player the entire game.
Jade Hussey created many turnovers and provided lots of voice and direction.
Mia Jenkins had a great game in goal attack and is continually proving to be such a vital player in C-grade’s attacking side.

C-reserve: Congupna 56 def Rams 22.
It was another tough match this week for C Reserve, taking on second-placed Congupna and going down 22 to 56.
Despite the scoreline, the girls put in a strong performance and continued to show growth on court.
Being far away from bridging the score, we took the opportunity to trial a few new positions, and some of them might just become regular features.

Under-17s: Deni 62 def Congupna 36.
The Rams had a convincing win against Congupna on Saturday.
The girls started slowly in the first but came out stronger in the second with consistent mid-court pressure from Shontai O’Callaghan, Molly Bradley and Aysha Mitsch, which resulted in numerous mid-court turnovers.
Ball movement into attack was quick, and Phoebe Newman and Zoe Circuitt were accurate in goals.
Georgia Henderson and Alice Circuitt both played a strong game down the defensive end.

Under-15s: Rams 26 def Congupna 22.
A strong four quarter effort saw the Rams walk away with a four goal win over Congupna.
Bella Hillier was unstoppable in defence, getting her hands to numerous balls and gave great drive down the court into our attacking end.
Olivia Jeffrey was reliable in the goal circle, shooting accurately and creating space leading to lots of opportunities to score.
Josie Offord worked tirelessly in C and WD, shutting down her opponent whilst creating lots of drive through our mid-court.

The girls showcased a prompt, rapid and impressive attacking play early on.
They had speed on the ball and through the attacking end to create headaches for the opposition.
Every team member played their part, leading to a convincing win.
Awards were given to Aleaha Leetham for her unselfish plays and team player spirit, while Julia Smith earned recognition for following instructions and displaying commitment in winning balls.
The captain's award was awarded to Lexi Maher for her exceptional all-around performance and effort.
