Kurrajong Deniliquin clients and their supervisors made an appearance dressed as witches.
Instead of asking businesses for lollies, they were handing them out.
Armed with buckets of Halloween themed lollipops, candy bracelets and other delicious goodies, they spread a bit of spooky joy for local workers.
The official Halloween festivities for Deniliquin will be held next Friday, thanks to Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group.

Market day tomorrow
Tomorrow is the fourth Saturday of the month, which means the Deniliquin Lions Community Market is on again in the Waring Gardens.
Expect to see fruit and veg, plants, crafts, bric-a-brac, and a range of items from local makers.
Make sure to drop by the Deni Lions van for some refreshments, and the Deniliquin Girl Guides are usually there with the famous cinnamon and jam donuts.
Why not try holding a stall at the monthly market? Fees are low, and you only need a table to display your items.
And the best thing, your site fee supports the Deni Lions in their local projects.
Call Norm on 0417 831 466 to reserve a site.
Demo in north Deni
If you’re driving along Davidson St in north Deniliquin in the coming days and weeks and something looks a little different, you’re not imagining things.
Council has this week demolished the old amenities block on the southern end of the rest stop area.
The facility is no longer compliant and has been replaced by the new amenities at the northern end of the same rest stop.
Get counting
Although some days this week have not felt very spring-like, the season is here and that means the 2025 Aussie Bird Count has started.
To take part, pick your spot, anywhere you like from your favourite park to your garden, and spend 20 minutes quietly observing the birds you see.
Submit your count using the Aussie Bird Count app, which will help you identify the birds you see and hear.
You can count as many times as you like during Bird Week, as long as each count lasts 20 minutes and is submitted separately.
The count period started on Monday, and runs through to Sunday.
Download the Aussie Bird Count app or visit www.aussiebirdcount.org.au to register.
