Russell turns 60

Russell Jordan chose the Deniliquin Boat Club as the venue for his 60th birthday celebrations on Saturday.

While the rain prevented the group from enjoying the deck and sprawling lawns, the 50 or so guests still had a great time.

Friends and family came from the local area, and from Melbourne, Cootamundra, Scone, Ballarat and Yea to attend.

Held on his actual birthday, Russell had to wait until the evening for his birthday present.

He was gifted a Bathurst Hot Lap by his family.
