Sureway has been providing support to job seekers in Deniliquin and the broader NSW network for more than 30 years.The employment and training provider’s team takes pride in providing upskilling and job opportunities for the local community.Its services are supported by the Federal Government’s jobactive and Disability Employment Services programs, which assist individuals to become job ready, and gain and sustain employment.And there are a few new faces on the team helping job seekers through that process — Brianna Holden, Tracy McKenzie and Taylor Petterwood.Brianna and Tracy work in the jobactive sphere, bringing both drive and experience with helping others.‘‘I previously worked in childcare for 19 years,’’ Tracy said.‘‘I was looking for a career change, and a role where I could help people.’’Brianna has a law background, and previously worked as part of Member for Murray Helen Dalton’s Deniliquin-based team.‘‘I was also looking for a career change which offered similar reward in being able to help the local community.‘‘We (Sureway) cater to a wide demographic, from 16 years old to 60 years plus.‘‘We assist them with finding employment, putting resumes together, interview techniques, retraining and gaining qualifications in certain areas.“We also support our clients once they find work. We are here to support them for the long-term.”
