The response was so great, cafe owner Angela Thomas did not have the supplies to open again Sunday as she had planned.
But with a fresh batch of ingredients, the cafe was open again Monday and has been popular with locals all week.
You can experience the difference the new cafe has to offer by dropping into 32 Napier St, Deniliquin - formerly Bronte’s Cafe.
Mrs Thomas has introduced a new decor, a fresh menu and coffee at its brilliant best.
It is all designed to lure customers back to inside dinning and alfresco social catch-ups which spill into the Melbourne-style alley.
Mrs Thomas said the welcome Curly’z has received has been “fantastic”.
“It was amazing to see such community support, and even out of town visitors,” she said.
“We had your usual hiccups that new businesses experience, but it is all part of running your own business.”
Those who know Mrs Thomas will know exactly where the name of the cafe came from.
But few know that running her own cafe, after many years working in hospitality, has been her dream.
“It (Curly) is the nickname my husband has always called me due to my tight curly hair; it’s just fitting for me,” she said.
“The kids have now grown to a stage where its time for me to do something I’m passionate about.”

Helping Mrs Thomas feed and treat the masses is full time chef James Griesche.
"I am excited about the opportunity and look forward to preparing really great food for our customers to enjoy,“ Mr Griesche said.
The cafe offers a diverse menu to choose from.
There is a small range of cook to order meals available, a gluten free menu including sandwiches and desserts. You can dine-in or take away.
The coffee is the Prodigy blend, and is already being compared to the cuppas you might get in Melbourne.
Curly’z Cafe is closed Tuesdays, but open other weekdays from 7am to 4pm. Weekend opening hours are 8am to 2pm Saturday and 8am to 12.30pm Sunday.
