The annual Deni Shovel Muster & Bike Swap Meet at Pretty Pine caters to owners and enthusiasts of Shovelhead Harley-Davidsons in particular.
The Shovelhead engine was produced by Harley-Davidson from 1966 to 1984, built as a successor to the previous Panhead engine.
Organisers will this year celebrate 10 years since the establishment of the Shovel Muster, despite some years being missed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be held at the Pretty Pine Hotel on Saturday, June 10, with gates open from noon.
Trophy judging will be from 4pm, and there will be live music from Lucey between 3pm and 6pm and The Flannos from 7pm “until stumps”.
A $20 band cover charge applies, but children under 16 get in free.
Committee member Nathan Jefferies said proceeds earned from the weekend are donated back to the community.
Ahead of this year’s event, the committee has donated $5000 to Deniliquin Can Assist - a charity which provides financial support to locals undergoing cancer treatment.
Mr Jefferies said the amount is pooled from previous years, and from a raffle to be drawn at this year’s event.
“It’s taken us a bit of time to raise the money after a smaller than normal event last year, and two years of no events before that,” Mr Jefferies said.
“And we could not do it without our sponsors, and in particular the Pretty Pine Hotel.
“We’d like to see a couple of hundred people turn up this year to get the event back to what it used to be.”
Registrations for the Shovel Muster’s show and shine event are taken on the day.
Camping is available on site, and a courtesy bus will be running for those staying in Deniliquin.
