Deniliquin Distrct Soccer Association comes to a conclusion tomorrow, with the grand finals to be played at Deniliquin Rotary Park.

The day starts with a sponsors’ breakfast and barbecue from 9am.
After play, presentations will be hosted in the Coach House Hotel function room.
The presentations for players on C and D-grades will run from 3pm to 4pm.
The A and B-grade presentations will run from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
Food will be provided at both events.
Results from last Saturday’s games (round 11) are as follows:
A-grade:
A1 (dark blue) 2 drew A4 (burgundy) 2.
The youngest players erupted with explosive speed and raw flair, their fresh legs and lightning-quick footwork electrifying the field and igniting the crowd with exhilarating energy.
But the ‘oldies’ slowed the rhythm, their minds sharp and hearts fierce, weaving clever passes and demonstrating unbreakable teamwork to seize control of the ball.
Both goalkeepers rose to the occasion, performing jaw-dropping acrobatic dives that kept the score firmly balanced at both ends, their calm resolve embodying the pure spirit of the game.
A riveting battle of wisdom versus youthful energy unfolded, bursting with passion that kept the crowd roaring at every twist and turn.
In the end, both teams triumphed equally, each claiming two goals in a game played with soul, grit, and unbreakable spirit. A match to remember!

A2 (light blue) 2 def by A3 (dark green) 7.
It was a tough day at the office for the Blue team, but their performance was full of heart and determination.
Despite the final score, the team played exceptionally well, with standout efforts from shared goalkeepers Pip Wilson and Isaac Tubb, who made some crucial saves to keep the team in the game.
The Blues did find the back of the net twice, including a well-placed penalty shot that showcased their growing confidence and composure under pressure.
Across the pitch, teamwork was evident, with players linking up beautifully and showing great synergy.
A promising performance that highlighted the team's development and spirit this season - plenty to be proud of!
Ruth Hornung struck two of the best running, long range goals ever seen, back-to-back, for the Greens! Inspiring stuff for the team.
The Loughridge brothers maintained magnificent coordination and passing.
This was the best team effort of the year for the Green team, with every single person stepping up when needed.

B-grade:
B2 (burgundy) 2 vs B3 (blue) 3.
It was an amazing comeback from B3, who were down 2-0 at half-time.
Some cracking goals from 20m out lead to a 3-2 victory.
There were some superb set shot goals from both teams.
Aadi Patel scored in the first half to help his side lead 2-0.
Will Turner got the first goal in the second half, which was a catalyst for a 3-2 comeback win.

B1 (dark green) 0 def by vs B4 (green/white) 3.
A good team effort by the whole team yet again for B4, with goals being shared around among three players.
Havana Sztejman had slick skills, dominating the whole field and deservedly getting Best on Ground.
Defence was tight from B1 all game, with solid efforts from Akira Booby, Piper Hansen and Selma Van der Berg.
Ned Campbell and James Massingham, in goals, had some tough saves and were consistent throughout.
Angus Priest and Joe Holden continued to demonstrate strong communication on the field, with Michael Olabampe, Chris Plant and Howee Borbon taking some great passes to make ground.
While they didn't get scores on the board, the dark greens kept spirits up, and it was great to hear the team still takeaway a positive mindset and hear them encouraging each other.

C-grade:
C1 (yellow) 5 def C4 (orange) 3.
The clash of the Titans! On the green cloud, the gods in orange (after a tasty meal of carrots), battled it out against the yellow gods.
Zeus brought out his thunderbolt, and Hades unleashed his terror.
The vibration of their running and passing sent tremors across the field.
Parents were frozen, and coaches yelled out instructions.
The orange gods fought with all their strength, but in the end the universe favoured the yellow gods.
There was silence in the face of the deep, but the orange gods have learnt courage, resilience and respect. Despite their loss, they remain winners in our hearts.

C2 (purple) 1 def C3 (green) 8.
Someone call the fire brigade because the green machine were burning up the pitch.
From the starting whistle, it was clear the kids had their game faces on.
A goal within seconds set the tone for an action-packed match.
Best on Ground Mason Howard scored goal after goal - anyone would think he had been training for the World Cup.
Maeve Shields brought home the sportsperson award for her phenomenal effort, always being there to back up her teammates.

D-grade:
D1 (dark green) 1 def D4 (light green) 0.
It was a great even game by all players, and great sportsmanship by all.
A top goal by Micky Lawson won the game.

D2 (grey) 7 def D3 (red) 3.
It was ‘sun’s out, guns out’ on Saturday with both teams enjoying the sunshine and exploiting some open space with long kicks.
In a high scoring game, great play saw Amelia (surname not provided) get her first goal and plenty of teamwork from the grey shirts.
The red team started bedding down some positional play.
Evie Robson boosted moral with an early goal to close the gap, and keep the team in the hunt. Her plan to set her sister Maxi Robson up paid off, as Maxi knocked home the first of her two goals.

Kangas and Joeys:
The Kangas and Joeys continue to impress with their passion for the game, and we look forward to welcoming many of them back next season.
No doubt somje will move up to D-grade by then.
It has been a wonderful season for our new players, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing Mel Kennedy.
She has given her time and energy every Saturday morning, creating a positive learning environment for the kids to learn soccer in.
A huge thank you to her for keeping everyone engaged.
