If you see people going around with their fingers crossed, there is a good reason for it.
Local lass Lara O’Callaghan has received an invitation to attend the Picola League vote count.
That is a good sign for the Mathoura Netball Club’s under-13 player – an indication that she could be in the running for an award.
We all wish her well and hope she ‘brings home the bacon’, so to speak.
In the meantime Lara and her teammates, along with the Mathoura C-reserve team, will be busy tomorrow contesting finals at Blighty.
Good luck to all.

The lessons were provided by Deigo Sztejman from Deniliquin, and there were some great moves recorded during the period.
