However, people are often unaware of the amount of individual and business volunteer work that goes into helping the Bowling Club function as well as it does.
“Volunteers are the backbones of many businesses and organisations, including our club,” Deniliquin Bowling Club manager Narelle Basset said.
“Without these great people we would be lost, they save the club precious money.
“Their dedication and expertise is greatly appreciated, not to mention, invaluable.
“Whether it be admin, plumbing, maintaining bowling greens, mowing, gardening, general building maintenance and cleaning, running raffles, barbecues, organising bowling events - to mention a few but not all.”
Narelle said members of the Deniliquin Bowling Club shared their thanks and are truly grateful for all the wonderful volunteers.
“We appreciate each and every one of you; the time and effort you put in and the expert job you always do. A big thanks to all.”
