It was a case of third time lucky when former Deniliquin man Sam Tasker finally married Annabel Garrard.
Their wedding had twice been cancelled because of COVID-19.

They got their chance to walk down the aisle on February 19.
The wedding took place at Annabel’s family home in Randwick, Sydney surrounded by family and friends — including a large contingent from Deniliquin.
Of the 100 guests, at least 40 were from Deniliquin, with Sam’s Deniliquin mates making up a large portion of the bridal party.
Sam’s best man was Matthew Baker, and his groomsmen were Andrew Hogan, Nick Roebuck and Matthew Tan.
Annabel’s bridesmaids were Isabella Van Leer, Deborah Leake, Georgina McInnes and Ailsa Neale.
Following the ceremony in the family garden, the reception was held at the South Maroubra Surf Club.
The pair spent three days in Hobart following the wedding as a mini-honeymoon, and plan to visit Japan next year.
They will continue to divide their time between their home in Sydney, and in Mount Isa where Sam works.
Sam is the son of Mark and Louise Tasker of Deniliquin, and Annabel is the daughter of Sheila and David Garrard of Sydney.
