Three boys — Marcus Moorse, Alvin Cooper and Tomas Banks — will be involved in 10 to 12 sessions with a focus on skill development, game sense and personal growth.
The boys’ inclusion comes as a result of the 2019 academy coaches spending countless hours scouring the entire Goulburn Murray Region to identify the best talent to be invited to this year’s program.
Well done boys, and good luck in the academy.

The Mathoura Catholic community’s final link with the Sisters of Mercy from Parkes was severed at the weekend.
It came with the passing of Sister Mary Martin, later known as Sister Josephine Smith, who was the last surviving nun to have served at St Bridget’s Catholic School.
She taught students from Kindergarten to Year 3 at the school before its closure in 1963.
Following the closure students from the school were transferred to the Mathoura Public School.
Sister Martin will be fondly remembered by many of her former students and their parents.

The 45 degree plus heat this week delayed the start of pre-season training for the Mathoura Football Netball Club.
However, the club is hoping for cooler conditions next week to enable a start.
