Deni RSL acting CEO Mitch Bathis said the popular Australian tribute show is from Melbourne with .
“They’re proven to be a crowd hit,” he said.
“They’ve been touring and doing numerous sold-out shows down in Melbourne and across Victoria.”
The club is keen to continue on the success of the last two musical performances, One Night In Vegas show and GYPSY - The Australian Fleetwood Mac Tribute show.
Mr Bathis said he has had comments from local hotel and motel owners around town that they were booked out during the previous shows, demonstrating the events are drawing people into town.
Visitors from Bendigo, Swan Hill and Wagga attended the Fleetwood Mac show.
Mr Bathis said the AC/DC show is expected to be bigger than the GYPSY performance.
“The sound and lighting production (for Thunderstruck) will be bigger than the Fleetwood Mac tribute show.”
Mr Bathis said the Fleetwood Mac show was a sell-out, and this AC/DC show is tracking the same way. He urged anyone interested to purchase now.
“We’re about to pass more than three quarters of the tickets sold.”
