Last Friday, Deniliquin South School’s kindergarten students and teachers celebrated a massive milestone in education.
It was their 100th day of primary school learning.
To celebrate, they all dressed as 100 year-olds.
The students and teachers are clearly well prepared for later life as there were plenty of glasses, walking sticks, frames, woollen cardigans, plaid shirts and timeless hats on display.
The students received some inspiration from ‘the Grannies’ from the hit show Bluey, and loved posing in front of the celebratory 100 backdrop before getting on with their schoolwork.
The costumes and atmosphere celebrated the students who are now veterans of the school yard and the schooling routine.
