A little whisper that Tom Hawkins might have been be in Deni, and making a stop at Frank n Beans cafe, caught the Horne and Bliss children’s attention on Saturday morning.

After a big morning at tennis, the kids popped into the popular cafe with their parents in the hope of seeing Tom.
Their wishes came true.
Not only did they get a milkshake, but also a photo with their AFL hero.
Hawkins, who grew up in Finley, is a star for the Geelong Cats.
He has a connection with Deniliquin through his wife Emma, the daughter of Harold and Bonnie Clapham.
Police legacy Dine In Night
There is an open invite for all Murray River Police District sworn and non-sworn officers and their partners, as well as valued members of the community, to attend the Murray River Police District Dine In Night is on this Saturday at the Deniliquin RSL Club.
Guests are asked to arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
The dress code is black tie, and there will be a special guest speaker.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to NSW Police Legacy, which provides care and ongoing support to police officers and their families who have suffered hardship of loss.
The cost is $90 per person which includes a three course meal.
