‘Tis the season of giving

Donations will be accepted at the library until December 15.

All donated books will be placed under the tree and will be distributed by the Salvation Army.

Donating books is a great way to give back to your community and help those in need during the holiday season, Salvos community engagement worker Sandra Whyborn said.

They’re also a fantastic educational tool for children,“ she said.

“It is vital to ensure that children have access to books and other educational resources, especially in times of need,” Ms Whyborn said.

All books should be donated unwrapped, so they can be distributed appropriately based on therr content and reading level.
