Over many decades, he has contributed generously to a wide range of local organisations and causes, always with humility, good humour, and a strong sense of civic duty.
Tony played a key role in launching the Year 10 Driver Education program at Deniliquin High School, helping young people develop safe driving skills.
He’s held leadership roles across local sport and service clubs - including nearly a decade as Deniliquin Golf Club president and life membership of the Hockey Club - and dedicated close to 20 years to Yallambee/Kurrajong Waratah, earning rare dual life memberships.
He’s also coached junior soccer, served more than a decade as treasurer of St Paul’s Anglican Church, and continues to support countless community efforts.
Through 27 years with Rotary, Tony has served as president, treasurer, and secretary multiple times and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
Tony’s impact is felt across the Deniliquin community. He does not seek recognition, but his consistent, compassionate service makes him a truly deserving recipient of this award.
