The rear door of a Cressy St business was forced open on Tuesday night to gain entry.
A jewellery box, Apple watch and clothing have been reported missing.
Police said the total value of the damage and thefts is listed at about $2000.
The business was locked up about 8pm Tuesday, with the damage and thefts discovered about 8am Wednesday.
The previous night, a side window of Edwardes St business HQV Bargains was smashed to gain entry to the store.
Someone also tried to force open the side roller door, but it could only be lifted about 2cm.
Store manager Sandra King said a number of items in the store had been disturbed, particularly behind the service counter.
Due to ongoing investigations, a full stocktake to determine what items are missing had not been completed at the time of going to print yesterday.
As a result of the break-in, and ongoing investigations, the store has remained closed since Tuesday.
HQV Bargains was closed at 5.30pm Monday and the break-in discovered about 8.50am Tuesday.
Police are investigating both incidents and reviewing CCTV footage at hand.
The Pastoral Times has also seen reports of other shop windows being smashed or damaged this week.
Deniliquin Police officer in charge Inspector Paul Huggett said all possible links between the separate incidents are being investigated.
He has asked anyone with information to come forward.
