Two solid days of rain for Shepparton

Shepparton has seen a burst of winter rainfall, recording 17.8mm in the 48 hours to 9am on Wednesday, June 25, according to data from the Bureau of Meteorology.

Some 8.6mm fell in the 24 hours to 9am on Tuesday, followed by a further 9.2mm.

Forecasters are predicting showers on Wednesday, but little to no rain for the rest of the week.

Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 13°C from Thursday to Sunday, while overnight lows are dipping close to or below freezing, increasing the risk of morning frost across the Goulburn Valley.
