With recruit Dane Maxwell leading the way in goals, Tyn-Men enjoyed a clean sweep of indoor netball at the Deni Sports Stadium on Thursday night, claiming three wins from as many starts (scores 10-7, 9-3 and 10-5).
The other three teams all claimed one win apiece, however Pitts’ Posse with skipper Jayden Pitts and Todd Gallagher leading the way were awarded second place with a superior percentage in the round robin format. Pitts’ win came against Mac Attack (9-8), sealing the three premiership points.
Mac Attack claimed two premiership points with their win over Holobowski’s Hoods (6-4).
Hoods had a win against Pitts’ Posse (3-2) in a match that had very few highlights.
Awards for the night went to Jack Tyndall ($30 IGA voucher) and Aiden Free ($30 Globe voucher).
This Thursday is the second leg of indoor netball.
The Rams footballers are playing a mixed sport competition in lieu of their season being cancelled.
New players are always welcome — just turn up at the stadium at 5.30pm each Thursday. The competition will wrap up late October.
Ladder: Mac Attack 30, Tyn-Men 29, Pitts’ Posse 23, Hoods 21.
