This unique event showcases the connections between various visual artists to highlight the talent within the arts community.
The In Focus photography group - a dynamic and enthusiastic gathering within ERAS - has carefully selected photographs from their collections for this exhibition.
This broad variety of images have inspired fellow ERAS artists to create original artworks, drawings and paintings.
ERAS President Lou Graham said the exhibition will feature these artworks hung alongside the photographs that inspired them, creating an engaging dialogue between these two forms of visual arts.
“We are delighted to bring 'Art in Focus' back to Riverbend Gallery,” she said.
“This is the second time we have presented this type of exhibition.
“Following on from its debut two years ago, which received enthusiastic support from the community, the decision was made to repeat the collaboration between our photographers and other visual artists, as it resulted in truly inspiring works.
“We look forward to another excellent showcase of local talent and creativity, to celebrate the diverse artistic expressions of visual artists.”
The community is warmly invited to the free exhibition opening party at Riverbend Gallery on Friday, August 2 from 5pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy wine and nibbles while exploring the exhibition and engaging with the visual artists.
All photographs and artworks will be available for purchase, offering a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and take home a piece of this special exhibition.
