Rotarian and carols coordinator George Maddison said the evening of family-friendly entertainment will be held in the Deniliquin Waring Gardens from 7pm.
It will follow immediately after the Edward River Community Christmas Party, which begins in the gardens from 4pm.
Both events are free to attend.
The evening will also include the launch of the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group’s ‘Stronger Together in Deni: #5 Ways to Wellbeing’ project, which is supporting the event.
But that’s not all. Deniliquin Business Chamber’s Deni Lights Up Christmas lights competition winners will be announced, and the $1000 second chance prize in the Pastoral Times’ The Great Christmas Gift Card Giveaway will be drawn.
Mr Maddison said all the musicians are keen to host a live carols after a number of COVID-19 impacted years.
“It is fantastic to be able to deliver a full carols event,” he said.
“It will be great for the community to come together and celebrate.
“Thanks to the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group initiative, Rotary will be providing a free sausage sizzle.
“We’ll also have other food and refreshments for sale, and Edward River Council has also organised an array of other food vendors.
“Naked flames are no longer permitted at our carols, but we will have electronic candles for sale.”
Mr Schoeffel will team up with his fellow Sing Australia Choir members to perform his original song, and other tunes.
There will also be performances from the Edward River Concert Band, Con Spirito Voices choir and Sophie Butcher.
Local bands taking to the stage tonight are The Dollar Forty Sevens, The Allitt Family Singers and Zara Lindeman and The Smoking Gun.
“We’re also excited to be introducing a new band - The Next Big Thing,” Mr Maddison said.
