Year 12s bid a final farewell to DHS

A particular memory that has stuck with the class was James Selleck’s love for KFC and the recurring absences of a few students.

Class year adviser, John Lethbridge gave a tear-filled speech, expressing his pride in all 43 students and the young adults they have become.

The Year 12s received a standing ovation from peers, staff and family as they took their final walk out of the hall.

While the students no longer have to attend classes, the school year is not yet over.

They now take a short break before the HSC timetable begins on October 11.

All exams across the state will be completed by November 3.
