Zech Walters recently joined the South West Music team.
New Zealand born Zech Walters has joined the South West Music team, bringing with him 16 years experience playing the guitar and 22 years as a singer-songwriter.

Mr Walters will be leading the River Rock Band Program, his combined passion for teaching and experience in the recording music industry will bring a depth of learning for those he teaches guitar and song-writing.
The focus on teaching will be mentoring emerging musicians in creative song writing and rock band music business skills.
In his approach, Mr Walters will endeavour to encourage and motivate students to find their purpose with music and build a supportive community for students to have a place to belong and share creative ideas.
Believing that failure is an important part of the creative process and life, Mr Walters aims to lead by example.
“I am a life-long learner and know I will learn as much from my student community as they do for me,” he said.
Mr Walters is a member of Woodlock, a band of brothers with an international profile with over a decade of national touring and headlining international tours through the Philippines, China and Canada.
His music is featured in advertising with international companies such as NRMA insurance, Disnet + network, Nintendo, Baeyer pharmaceutical company and Vodaphone.
