The change of venue for their home game did nothing to deter Rovers A-grade from continuing their winning form, emerging victorious over Katamatite with a commanding scoreline of 71 to 9.
From the first whistle, Rovers exhibited their dominance, displaying their prowess in all areas of the court.
Their midcourt players, ably led by Gabby Barlow, executed precise passes and created openings in the Katamatite defence, allowing Rovers to capitalize on scoring opportunities.
Chloe Brown’s accuracy in the shooting circle was outstanding.
With agile footwork, she constantly found space, combining with coach Carissa Bulmer, and Abbey Wills to amass an overwhelming lead on the scoreboard.
Rovers’ defenders were relentless, successfully halting Katamatite’s attacking plays, denying them any clear opportunities to score.
Despite the lopsided scoreline, Katamatite never gave up and fought hard until the end.
With many positional changes, this comprehensive victory highlights Rovers A-grade’s versatility and exceptional team performance in all aspects of the game.

After a bit of an unsettled week, the Rovers girls were keen to put on a strong performance.
Minimal errors and seamless substitutions injected fresh legs into the team at half-time.
Multiple adjustments from the girls in defence, calm transitions, middies pinpoint feeding and an incredibly high conversion rate from the shooters led to one of our most consistent games of the season.

Another tight game, where teamwork and determination were on show.
Pressure was felt on court from the first pass, as both teams worked hard to gain control and assert their dominance.
Jemmah Conallin and Abby Whitehorn moved quickly to find space and ensure passing options.
Catie Lewis and Madi Leetham in defence were under pressure in the ring and maintained the fight to ensure a three goal lead at half-time.
The girls worked hard, fighting for every ball and intercept.
Nicole Felmingham and Georgia Dudley worked the ring keeping their options alive.
Rovers fought hard, maintaining their focus in the final quarter, slowing to control the game, ensuring every hard earned passage of play was rewarded through the goal ring.
Coach Carissa Holmberg was stoked with the win and the grit and determination shown by the whole team.

Kelly Thorpe and Tiarna Murdock put pressure on their opponents creating opportunities for the turnover.
Katamatite gained some control in the second quarter as both sides were only able to increase their score by four.
Mollie Leetham was vocal across the court in the second half.
Ellissa Boyer and Nikita Doyle used strong passes through the centre and Lauren Butcher found her rhythm in the goal ring, adding to the score.
A physical but great game to watch as Rovers enjoyed another win.

Led by the dynamic Jarrah Fitzpatrick in the goal attack position, the Rovers showcased their exceptional talent and teamwork throughout the game, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.
Fitzpatrick's accuracy and shooting prowess were the talk of the match, as she consistently found the net, amassing an impressive tally of goals.
Her exceptional positioning and sharp movements in the shooting circle proved to be a nightmare for the Tigers' defence, as she effortlessly converted scoring opportunities into valuable points for the Rovers.
The supporting role of Hazel Glowrey was instrumental in the team's success.
Glowrey's agility, vision, and precise passing ensured a smooth flow of the ball through the midcourt.
Her ability to find space and set up attacking plays allowed the Rovers' offense to flourish and create numerous scoring opportunities.
Defensively, Leasha Bartlett played a pivotal role in disrupting the Tigers' attacking rhythm.
Applying hands over pressure and displaying impeccable timing, Bartlett successfully created turnovers and denied her opponents crucial scoring opportunities.

The game was dominated by the Rovers, who showed incredible teamwork and skill throughout the match.
Overall, it was a fantastic performance by the girls, who should be incredibly proud of their win.

With the craziness of the last week and last minute venue changes, the girls didn’t let it affect their game.
