All 18 tennis courts were being utilised because of the huge amount of kids enjoying their tennis each week.
The improvement within the red, orange and green ball groups is obvious, and club president Jon Gatacre said it is amazing to see each week.
“The club is lucky to have so many kids, and parent helpers to assist with the development of all these keen kids,” he said.
This week saw section one back to nearly full strength, and this proved to be the case with two very closely fought matches.
Murray Darling Scenic Flights took on JC Earthworks, and the match could have gone either way.
JC eventually got on top of MDSF, eight sets to six.
Hugo McGrillen again dominated with another three sets to his impressive tally this season.
The RivBeef Rippers put up a real fight against Intersport Deni, but couldn’t get the chocolates and went down six sets to eight.
William Steenholdt and Henry Pisasale both won three sets for Intersport.
James Gatacre was the only player for RivBeef to win three sets.
