On Sunday the special day of the Recycled Stubbies took place with a good turn out of bowlers.
There was good prize money, many thanks to Lynton Ford for organising the day, and collecting all the bottles and cans throughout the year.
A great format for the day. After the three games civic ventured into the club house for a BBQ lunch.
A special thank you must go to Judy and Pam who attended to the lunch.
Winners: - Ian Bilney, Sue Dawson and Irene Hodge (visitor).
Runners-up:- Doug Castles, Peter Howell and Shane Rosenow.
3rd:- Bruce Corcoran, Lynne Pyke and Frank Hicks.
4th:- Maureen Hutson, Marie Lewsey and John Hodge (visitor)
The final of the Ladies Triples Final was played on Thursday morning between Pam Tobias, Eileen Ide and Margaret Watson against Janet Davis Sue Dawson and Annette Norman.
Pam’s team got off to a good start, Janet’s team had a couple of very good ends and by half way Pam was 4 – 6.
Janet then powered away and came out with the win.
A great game for the spectators who came to support the ladies.
It was a beautiful sunny day for Wednesday social with a good turnout of players.
It was great to have quite a few visitors come along and participate, we hope to see you again.

It is with sadness that member Keith Little passed away during the week. Keith will be sadly missed at the club. Condolences go out to his wife and family.

Winners were Ketch, Jason Nicholls and Kevin Bowler +19.
Social Bowls - April 22nd was a very pleasant day and the RSL Bowls enjoyed the company of Jim and Beryl Wards family who played "Social".
Winners from "random draw" were Jenny Lawrence, Jason Nicholls and John Creighton.
Runners Up - Laurie Way, David Mark and Phil Arrowsmith.
