Corowa RSL Bowls Club has a new bowls coach for the 2025 - 26 season.
President Shawn McMahon announced that Chris Cooney will coach and play at Corowa RSL Bowls.
Shawn also welcomed new members, Chris Randell and Susie Singleton.

Social bowls on Wednesday was very foggy and cold, and surprisingly 18 bowlers turned up to play.
Half way through the second half the sun came through the fog and was great, with some having to remove their big coats.
Winners: Ann Sadowski, Pam Tobias and Col Hendren.
Runners Up: John Dalgleish, Shane Rosenow and Ray Ager.
Saturday turned out to be a beautiful sunny day after a very cold frosty morning.
14 players took part with two teams of triples and four teams of pairs.
Winners: Ian Bilney, Annette Norman and Ned Young.
Runners Up: Lance Davis and Estelle Hollingsworth.
Congratulations to Dawn Hayman on winning the Australian Open Ladies Singles which was played in Queensland over the past couple of weeks.
Four members in Ian Bilney, Ian Lewis, Adam Corcoran and Paul Hickey participated in The Bernie Hemphill Day at Urana on Sunday, June 15.
The boys came away the winners on the day, congratulations.
Corowa Civic is now accepting entries for the Gwen Tait Ladies Tournament to be held on Thursday, September 18.

There was a tremendous lot of entries last week for the Mixed Pairs Consistency Tournament to be played in August.
The quota is filled but if any more entries arrive, they will be placed on the emergency list in case there are some cancellations.
Social bowls are played on Wednesday and Saturday at 12.30pm names in by 11.30am.
Visitors are most welcome.
