The Rhinos started badly when opener Greg Staynes was out for only three and it continued to be a struggle throughout the innings.
Fellow opener Tom McCallum scored a patient 13 runs before being caught, but few others were able to reach double figures.
Harry Hillier was out LBW after scoring only three runs, and Lochie Holloway was run out for only six.
The wickets continued to tumble and the Rhinos were eventually all out for a meagre 62, after batting for 34.1 overs in difficult conditions.
This total was not going to be enough against the Berrigan batsmen.
However, it was a bright start for the Rhinos when McCallum caught opener Connor Thornton off the second ball of the innings, then Ross struggled to reach four runs before he was dismissed.
Kai Hillier’s bowling was proving difficult for the Saints, until their captain Zach Taylor-Nugent came to the crease.
Unlike every other batsmen to that point he was able to score quickly, with a rapid 37 off just 30 balls to take total control of the match.
He saw wickets tumble around him, as none of this team-mates was able to reach double figures.
Matt Whelan made seven off 19 before being caught.
But with the dominance of Taylor-Nugent, Berrigan cruised past the Rhinos’ score in just 14.5 overs, finishing at 6/64.
