The ladies played a fantastic game, showing great teamwork and cohesion across the court.
There’s been a noticeable improvement in movement down the court, with the mid-court impressively executing double plays to transition the ball forward.
Steph Barry stepped into defence and put significant pressure on Tungamah’s attacking line.
Chelsea Weir was relentless in defence, taking some brilliant intercepts and fighting hard throughout the game.
In the circle, Ash Charlton and Monique Toppin continued to strengthen their partnership, working well together to create space and scoring opportunities.
It’s exciting to see the progress the team is making, and we’re looking forward to what the coming weeks hold as we keep building and developing our on-court connections.

B-grade: Blighty 10 def by Tungamah 79.
The ladies took to the court full of energy and ready to support one another, playing another fantastic game and showing continued improvement.
Steph Barry stepped up in the attacking end, confidently directing play and creating opportunities.
Jane Napier made a strong impact each time she entered the court, bringing fresh energy and composure.
Chelsea Weir and Erica Nicholls each contributed with a solid quarter in B-grade, helping move the ball effectively through the mid-court.
The defence worked tirelessly as a unit to put pressure on Tungamah’s shooters and disrupt their rhythm.
Another great performance from the team.

C-grade: Blighty 10 def by Tungamah 45.
The C-grade girls hit the road to Tungamah ready to give it their all, and they delivered.
Right from the first whistle, the team showed determination and heart.
In defence, Ruby Williams and Chook Watson were outstanding.
Their relentless pressure and commitment didn’t let up all game, keeping Tungamah on their toes.
Amelia Fraser had one of her best games of the season, moving with confidence and helping create smooth passages of play through the centre. Her vision and execution were a real highlight.
In the mid-court was strong in attack and defence, and the attackers continue to be a driving force in the goal circle.
A big thank you to Grace Reid for stepping up and joining the C-grade side this week. Her experience and versatility were much appreciated.

What a fantastic day to travel to Tungamah and take on the top team in the competition.
The girls showed up with not only a fighting spirit, but also their trademark fun and enthusiasm.
The defensive trio worked tirelessly to shut down Tungamah’s attack, coming up with countless turnovers and putting on a stellar performance.
It was great to welcome back Georgia Brydon, who didn’t miss a beat, working hard and grabbing some impressive intercepts.
The experience of Lauryn Bond and Grace Reid was invaluable again this week.
They bring flexibility and leadership to the team, and are always happy to switch things up to change the play when needed. Their influence on and off the court is evident.
Alena Lamour was once again a key player, working seamlessly in the ring with Ali Macdonald and being a reliable target for centre passes. She also moved across to centre with ease, proving to be a huge asset all over the court.
Ali had a standout game this week, showing she’s still got that spark and delivering when it matters most.
It was a great contest and, just as importantly a lot of fun.

Under-17s: Blighty 39 def by Tungamah 43.
This was the game of the season so far!
Our Redeyes showed up to play, and put on a tremendous show.
They shocked the fourth placed Tungamah with neck-to-neck scores up until the third quarter.
Emily Harvey and Izzy Pearn applied relentless pressure and turnovers from the get-go, with turnovers converted accurately in our attack end.
Ash Charlton was dominant and determined in attack, which was lovely to watch.
All girls were committed and took on their individual roles with intensity and discipline.
We are extremely proud of our girls, who proved we are building.
Despite being the underdogs, we are able to shake things up and keep our opponents on their toes.

Under-15s: Blighty 9 def by Tungamah 56.
It was another tough day out for the Redeyes, who were down three players and taking on the well-polished Tungamah Bears.
The girls knew it was going to be strong opposition, but came out blazing.
After working on our one-on-one defence at training, the girls were able to apply consistent pressure all down the court.
Lucy Pisasale came on in the second quarter, played strong and stood her ground well. Her improvement shone as she committed to hard direct drives towards the ball.
Milla Bode put her training to work as she applied immense pressure in goalkeeper, then swung out into wing defence for a taste of something new.
The defence trio consistently created turnovers and stopped the Bears from scoring.
Although the score didn’t reflect it, every single one of our Redeyes put all their effort onto the court.

Under-13s: Blighty 18 def by Tungamah 30.
The team showed grit and glimpses of brilliance, but were ultimately outplayed by a well-drilled Tungamah outfit in a tough match.
From the first whistle, it was clear the contest would be fast-paced and physical.
Blighty’s defenders worked overtime early on, putting in some tireless efforts to disrupt Tungamah’s rhythm in the goal ring.
Despite Blighty’s defensive pressure, Tungamah’s shooters were clinical, opening up a small lead by quarter-time and steadily building on it as the match progressed.
Blighty’s mid-court, led by the ever-reliable Kaydnce Sibraa fought to regain control and keep the ball moving forward.
Peggy McKenzie stepped up in the mid-court showing great determination and energy throughout.
Though the scoreboard didn’t swing in Blighty’s favour, the young team continues to grow in confidence and cohesion, setting the stage for improvement in the rounds to come.

The u11s came up against the Tungamah Bears for a great game of netball.
The girls showed determination and did not give up throughout the game, consistently taking on the coach’s advice and putting it into the play.
Remy Tremble worked hard all game, applying consistent pressure to her opponent and creating turnovers for the team.
Lindsey Lankow persisted all game and continued to ask for feedback to improve her play.
