Marg Binnien, Jack Lia and Ted Armstrong took out the day ahead of runners-up Di Wilson, David Lindsay and Ian Hobson.
The club attempted to run jackpot pairs on Friday, April 5, but numbers didn’t allow for a jackpot.
However, 16 players had a good day, playing two games of three-bowl pairs (10 ends).
The runners-up were Merv Sellars and Jeremy Boruch, with +9, two behind winners David Lindsay and Ian Hobson, with +11.

There will be no jackpot pairs on Friday, April 12, as most players are going away for the weekend to play the Edinburgh Shield.
On Saturday, April 6, 12 bowlers enjoyed social bowls.
The club had a visitor from England, Simon Eaton, who will take a Benalla club shirt home with him.
Bill Broderick and Gael Lange took out the day, ahead of Dale Brooker and Anthony Farnham.
The women’s and men’s pairs were also completed on Saturday, April 6.
The women’s pairs was a sectional event with the final won by Val Wood and Brenda Sunderland with a 18/14 over Christine Gray and Yvonne Capp.
The men’s pairs had more entries, so there was three groups of four in sectional play, culminating in three pairs vying to play in the final.
Anthony Farnham and Richard Baulch just missed out on making the final.
Peter Brock and Stuart Wills took out the competition, defeating Graeme Pitts and Wayne Neylon.
A club spokesperson said a big thank you to Jim Wood and his helpers in what was a difficult job to carry out this week.
