Deniliquin Boat Club was also pleased to host members and visitors on Sunday for the annual ‘Adult ski day with a touch of German flair’.
The day was organised primarily for 'adults' of any ability to come and have a ski.
It was very much a multicultural gathering, with the club warmly welcoming visitors from America, Germany, Brazil and the Netherlands.
To embrace the German theme, many attendees dressed in lederhosen and dirndls, adding to the festive atmosphere.
We thank all our volunteers who helped out on the day.
A special thank you to Ingrid and Wilhelm Greve, originally from Germany, for generously making and donating cheese kranskys and sauerkraut for lunch - it was absolutely delicious.
The day was a huge success and I thank everyone who attended and supported this event.
