Blighty Football reserves coaching duo Dion Winter and Brett Napier back again for 2023.
The expectation, excitement and enthusiasm in the air at Blighty heading into season 2023 is strong to have enticed all football coaches to return again for next season.

A few weeks after Kyel Bain re-signed to lead the seniors next year, the leadership for all other teams is now secure.
Dion Winter and Brett Napier will be co-coaching the reserves again with the club saying “these two blokes are about fun and carrying each other along with their passion and enthusiasm”.
Napier, speaking on behalf of the duo, said a focus in the pre-season is to firm up player numbers.
“This season we battled with numbers. Next year we are looking to add to our core blokes with thirds coming and by up attracting new players.
“We finished off the year well with a win, and look forward to taking that momentum into our pre-season training.”

The thirds will again be coached by Matt Dudley.
Dudley, and the club overall, is excited about the playing group and the talent within the team.
“We have good numbers and its one of the better sides I have seen in a while,” Dudley said.
“It is a tight knit group who are committed to next year, and that is exciting”.

The fourths will remain under the guidance of Tim Brown, and the club knows he will bring out the best in the players’ development.
Brown is keen to see what 2023 brings, with most of the 2022 side still within the age group to play at top age next year.
“The kids have taught me so much already, and I am happy to see them individually grow in confidence and skills as well as enjoy playing as a team.”

Excited at her ability to support, mentor and develop the future players of the club, the club welcomes back Sammy Rourke as fifths coach.
“I love being part of such an amazing, community friendly club, which makes my coaching role so much fun,” she said.
“I am looking forward to seeing what next year brings for our future stars of the club, mentoring and coaching the young guns and watch them grow throughout the year.”
