Ash Charlton and Monique Toppin stepped up another level in the shooting ring, working together beautifully to build their connection and apply what they’ve been learning at training.
Chelsea Weir worked tirelessly all game against a strong goal attack, with solid support from the defensive end.
It was a tough game with several players unavailable or unwell, but each week our team connections are growing stronger, which is great to see.

B-grade: Blighty 10 def by Tocumwal 75.
Steph Barry stepped into defence this week, working hard throughout the game and showing great determination to chase down loose balls.
Jane Napier applied strong pressure on her goal attack, continuing to build on the new skills she’s been learning.
Amelia Hay made her senior netball debut and had an immediate impact, feeding beautifully in to the goal ring.
It’s wonderful to see the connections strengthening each week and the team embracing feedback to keep improving.

C-grade: Blighty 9 def by Tocumwal 50.
The C-grade girls once again showed their versatility, with players confidently rotating through different positions on the court.
Their movement and transition down the court were impressive, led by the dynamic mid-court trio who chased down every ball and played a fantastic game.
Although the score doesn’t always reflect their efforts, these girls have come a long way as a team. With every game, their connection grows stronger, and it’s exciting to watch them gel more and more each week.
In defence, the girls were fearless - relentlessly applying pressure and creating multiple turnovers. Their grit and determination never wavered.
The goal circle worked their magic once again, combining beautifully around the ring to keep the scoreboard ticking.

C-reserve: Blighty 16 def by Tocumwal 49.
The Blighty girls have come such a long way since the start of the season. They should hold their heads high and be super proud of their efforts.
While the scoreboard doesn’t always reflect it, the effort, improvement, and fun this team brings to every game is incredible.
Shelby Hislop, Lara Elphinstone and Sarah Bain worked their magic in defence, putting in a huge effort to shut down the opposition and prevent goals.
In the mid-court, Jess Butcher, Sarah Nihill, and Lauryn Bond were outstanding, moving the ball with purpose and linking play beautifully down the court.
Jess Butcher also showed her team spirit by rotating around the court and having a go.
Alena Lamour once again showed her versatility, stepping into different positions seamlessly and making an impact wherever she played.
Down in the ring, Grace Reid and Ali MacDonald continued to grow their partnership, showing some really promising passages of play and combining well in attack.

Under-17s: Blighty 29 def by Tocumwal 39.
After last week’s battle, we faced another tough contest against Tocumwal.
The Redeyes took the lead early, having a great first half, creating concern for Tocumwal who made changes to challenge us.
The girls fought hard but couldn’t quite match the tough defence and made too many turnovers, allowing the bloods to run away with the game.
Belle Gordon played her best game of the season so far, giving intensity and pressure at all times.
Amelia Hay fought the entire day, impressive both in attack and defensively. She was promoted to B-grade for another game.

Under-15s: Blighty 12 def by Tocumwal 36.
The girls left all their effort out on the court until that very last whistle. As a team, we are coming together well, and each girl is improving immensely.
Kyah Watson continuously moved in the ring, supported by Amy Doherty who helped to create space and always be an option down the attacking end.
Ellie Miller worked hard in the goals, then swung out to the centre for a taste of something new. She assisted with the direction and flow down the court.
Once again, Lily Petersen impressed us all with her dedication and fight for the ball, improving each week with pulling the ball straight in.

Under-13s: Blighty 19 def by Tocumwal 28.
Blighty put in a determined effort on Saturday, but were outplayed by a strong Tocumwal side.
We started well, showing great teamwork and communication on court.
The defenders worked hard to limit Tocumwal’s early opportunities, and the shooters made the most of their chances in the first half, keeping the game close.
As the game progressed, Tocumwal stepped up their pressure, especially in the mid-court, and capitalised on turnovers to build a lead.
Blighty never gave up and continued to fight right to the final whistle, showing great spirit and sportsmanship.

Under-11s: Not scored.
This week, the minis worked hard on spacing out down the court and sticking tight with their players.
Jewel Winter played a great game in defence, reading the play to ensure she could get her hand to balls, causing deflections and turnovers.
Ruby Foley played an awesome game in the ring, swapping between attack and defence. She played against some very tall opponents but kept her head help high and didn’t stop trying.
