In the senior football, Katandra are undefeated with eight wins and sit second on the ladder.
It is the second week of difficult fixtures for Blighty, who played third-placed Katamatite last week and were held to an even 100 point loss against the Tigers in the seniors.
Meanwhile, the hosts of tomorrow’s match are coming off two wins of more than 100 points against Rennie and Mathoura and have won every match they’ve played this season by 20 points or more.
The Redeyes’ senior footballers have shown plenty of promise, putting in close performances against several teams this season.
Major tests of their quality will come in the following next four games when they play 12th placed Strathmerton, 11th placed Katunga and then games against the winless Rennie and Mathoura teams in succession before their team bye in round 16.
The Redeyes will want to avoid injuries ahead of those games next week, but will also not want to look too far ahead by still producing quality performances that they are capable of in the netball and football this weekend.
On the netball courts in Katandra, the under-11s and under-15s play from 9.30am, under-13s and under-17s from 10.40am, C-reserve and B-grade at 12pm and C-grade and A-grade at 1.30pm.
Football kicks off with the fifths from 9.30am, fourths from 10.30am, reserves from 12.25pm and seniors from 2.05pm.
