Mathoura came out with a very equal team to Blighty.
It was a great contest, the whole game, with Blighty winning by a point.
Blighty had four of the fifths coming up for the game, and it really helped the rest of the fourths gain confidence.
Darcy Cleve and Ari Tremble, really stepped up for the day, helping set up a goal for Hudson Kelly.
Jake Wharton was able to kick two goals, and he made a huge impact on the game.
The last quarter Harlem Morgan and Seth Fuess were asked to lift, and they did, with Harlem showing us that she had a superb ability to get the ball and move it to our forward line, with speed.
Seth was able to get a goal, which was exciting to see him run and take a bounce and kick a goal from the boundary.
Best on was awarded to Degan Morgan, who played a very consistent game all four quarters.
Zane Sibraa didn’t stop all day and was never scared to put a tackle in.
Harlem Morgan also got an award for super effort in the last half of the game.
Helen Fevaleaki and Jack Brown also got mentions for their effort. They put in to make the team win.
This week, Blighty as a whole team really stepped up to have a win. It was a super exciting game to be a part of.
