Held at the Griffith Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre on January 18, swimmers between eight and 12 competed.
It was the second meet of the year for the local swimmers, who also swam well at an event hosted at the Deniliquin Swim Centre earlier in the month.
The Deniliquin Long Course meet saw the club smash 107 personal bests in the pool, as well as being awarded the most points by a club.
At Griffith, the Deniliquin Swim Club members were up against a number of capable swimmers and clubs from all over regional NSW.
These included swimmers from places as far as Canberra and even Dapto and other Illawarra communities.
Some of the highlights for the club from the meet included a first place for Jed Fitzmauirce in the 10 year-old boys 50m butterfly, and a second place for Logan Littman in the nine and under boys 100m breaststroke.
Deni swimmers also achieved a number of other top 10 finishes.
Deniliquin Swim Club president Chris Butcher said he was proud of the swimmers, and emphasised the sheer scale of the meet.
“We had 10 of our club members representing Deni Swim Club in Griffith at the Country Regionals meet.
“This is a huge meet - almost 350 kids attend this two-day event.”
In addition to Jed and Logan, local competitors included Stella Butcher, Mia Fitzmaurice, Isobel and Jock Gordon, Chloe Lawson, Ben and Jack Macdonald, and Lexi Maher.

The swim events were held over two days, Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2.
Butcher said the first day was a hot one, but the Deni swimmers did well and achieved some personal bests.
