The team came out firing with a strong start, quickly taking the lead in what proved to be a consistent performance across all four quarters.
From the first whistle, the intensity was high, and the team maintained pressure throughout the entire game for a solid hit-out.
Cobram’s defence forced our attack end to continually adjust, but the team adapted well under pressure.
The attacking end was led by Bonnie Everett, who was dominant in the goal circle.
She combined well with Ella Harvey and Keely Mitsch, with all three showing growing confidence and connection as they work together week after week.
After a week off, Ella Park returned refreshed and brought great energy to the defensive end, making life difficult for the Cobram shooters.
She is also forming a strong defensive unit alongside Eve Gregor and Emma Parks, who provided great support throughout the game.
In the mid-court, Amelia Seignior, Makhaya Mitsch, and Steph Birk rotated through seamlessly, each providing strong drive and clean connections with both ends of the court.
Their ability to transition the ball smoothly under pressure helped keep momentum in the team’s favour.
Overall, it was a strong team effort across all areas of the court.

It was a tough, goal-for-goal contest right to the final whistle.
The girls fought hard, with fast and dynamic play through the mid-court led by Steph Birk, Makhaya Mitsch and Amber Farley.
Phoebe Newman was strong in the goal circle, delivering some impressive shooting under pressure.
In defence, Mia Parks, Katie Arandt, and Lucy Pitt were as polished and reliable as ever, applying consistent pressure throughout the match.
Despite their determined efforts, the team narrowly went down in the final minutes.

C-reserve: Cobram 40 def Deniliquin Rams 29.
C-reserve took on third-placed Cobram and, despite going down 29 to 40, made them work hard for every goal.
The game showed just how far the team has come this season.
There were some excellent passages of play, strong teamwork, and plenty of support across the court as players backed one another up from start to finish.
The defensive pressure from all across the court stopped Cobram from getting any fast breaks.
Abbey Doncon was steady and accurate in goals, making defenders work hard to keep her out of the ring, because once she had the ball inside, she rarely missed, no matter how far from the post.
Lucy Dudley had a strong game through the centre, providing great drive and linking the play beautifully.
Grace McMahon continues to be a versatile mid-court player, with great court awareness in both Wing Defence and Wing Attack helping to get the ball through the mid-court.

The Rams under-17s fought hard in Saturday’s match against Cobram to take out the win.
The girls have played some heavily contested matches in the last few rounds against some of the top sides, Cobram being one of them.
The girls took the first quarter to settle but increased their work rate in the final three quarters.
Alice Circuitt, Ava Marshall and Aysha Mitsch played a solid defensive match, making the Cobram goalers work hard to convert.
The mid-courters, in Georgia Henderson, Molly Bradley, Shontai O’Callaghan, worked tirelessly all game, with strong attacking and defensive efforts.
The combination of Zoe Circuitt and Phoebe Newman again proved a headache for the defenders, with the girls shooting with impressive accuracy for the entirety of the match.
Overall, a great team effort for the win.

Another tough week as we came up against the second placed Cobram.
Bella Hillier was rock solid in defence, with fabulous drives which helped in our transition from defence to attack.
Olivia Jeffrey and Arielle Hillier attacked hard all day, combining well with great movement, timing and communication in the ring.
Despite the result, the game was great to watch.

Under-13s: Cobram 41 def Deni Rams 19.
The score didn’t reflect the game the girls played. They showcased the chemistry they have built as a team.
Linking up throughout the court, they played a united team game. The encouragement for each other was a highlight.
Sophie Bliss and Julia Smith both stepped up this week, showing that they aren’t to be underestimated in defence winning ball back for their side.

With plenty of positional changes, each player adapted brilliantly, demonstrating their versatility and growing understanding of the game.
Their strong team spirit shone through, and an impressive comeback in the final quarter had everyone on the edge of their seats.
