Lynne and Sue had a very even game, Sue coming in and taking a shot after Lynne had held a few shots on quite a few ends. Sue came away winner 25-15, a great game ladies.

The Men’s game was a thriller going down to the wire. This game went for over 2 1/2 hrs, and both Ian and Col took turns winning ends. The score was 23 each before the last end was played, with lan getting a 2. The final scores Ian 25 to Col 23.

It is a great pity there weren’t two winners; they played 32 ends, with both winning 16 apiece. The supporters certainly witnessed a brilliant game.

Both Ian and Sue will represent Corowa Civic Bowls Club in the Ovens and Murray Singles Championship at a later date, congratulations to Sue, Lynne, Ian and Col for great bowling.

The Men’s and Ladies Club Triples will be played on Sunday, February 4; get your teams together as entries close on Sunday, January 28.

The Business House fours will start on a Wednesday, February 7 at 7pm for four weeks. If you are a business, a sporting club or other group and would like to participate please phone Eileen Ide 0402 027 797 or Annette Norman 0407 781 574 to enter a team. Lots of fun will be had by all.
