This four- week competition got underway last Saturday with ten teams competing in two bowl triples, sets play format. Two rounds were played and the leaders so far with two wins are;
Jan fisher, Lyn Scown and Ian Humphrey;
A Rose and two Thorns (Peter Summerill, Peter Smith and Rosemary Baddeley);
A King and his Queens (Ernie King, Joan Wood and Anne Smith);
K Dog and his Pups (Ken Widdison, Tony Coughlin and Judy Black).
Teams with one win are:
Dazzlyngazz (Darryl Brown, Lynne Ewison and Gary Brown)
One Dick and his Chicks (Ross Ewison, Jenny Lawrence and Rhonda Clark.)
Teams yet to win a game are:
Chucka Swifty’s (Ketch, Wayne Lee and Susie Swift);
Bev Reichman, Ken Stuart and Jan Widdup;
Sum-pil-nix (Les Pilfoot, Anne Summerill and (sub) Raz Porter);
Leyland Brothers plus One (Roly Nixon, Jeff Nixon and Laurie Way).
Rounds three and four will be played next Saturday, April 27.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM and Presentation of trophies will be held on Sunday May 5. Members are reminded to have their subscriptions paid before April 30.
Nominations for committee positions are being taken.
