Phoebe and Brydey have been invited to the Northern Region’s Talent Academy Trials for 2025 as part of their involvement in the Deniliquin Netball Association under-15s representative team.
Meanwhile, fellow Rams player Hannah has been identified through playing for the Murray League representative netball side.
She was invited to the North East Region’s Talent Academy trials for 2025, and to the State Team Trials.
The talent identification process, conducted by Netball Victoria during their competitions and tournaments, plays a crucial role in identifying promising athletes.
Talent scouts meticulously evaluate each athlete to determine their eligibility for an invitation to trial for the esteemed Netball Victoria Talent Academy and state programs.
Following the trials, 25 to 35 athletes will be chosen from each region to join the 2025 Talent Academy program.
The program is delivered over five months, combining full days of specialist training and region-based training sessions.
At the program’s conclusion is an Inter Academy Tournament, which is the first step in selecting the under-17 state team.
Being invited to these trials is significant, and the close connection between the girls has been key to furthering their representative netball achievements.
