Division 1 was beaten on all three rinks, going down 38 shots to 66 against Mathoura.
Peter Chadderton’s side lost 12-27, Simon Chisholm’s 12-19, and Shane Laing’s team was beaten 14 shots to 20.
In a match of fluctuating fortunes, Division 2 just prevailed against neighbours Deni RSL, 64 shots to 60.
Rob Morris called the shots for Chris Taylor, Ella Hipworth and David Hessel on their way to an 18-all draw in their match.
Things then looked grim when Steve King’s crew including Tony Danckert, Jill Grimshaw and Glenn Thomson was comprehensively beaten, 17 shots to 31.
But the final combination of Terry Boyer, Andrew Holloway, Bruce Clancy and Craig Hillier made sure of the overall four shot victory when they claimed a huge win, 29 shots to 11
The Division 3 team was never in the contest against Moama Green, defeated 42 shots to 83.
Paul ‘Trapper’ Snare and Tom Todd’s sides both lost by seven shots, 15-22 and 17-24 respectively, while Mark Law couldn’t prevent his team from a thumping loss, 10 shots to 37.
Division 5 continued their consistent form, and in the process claimed clear top spot on the ladder when they accounted for Moama, 46 shots to 33.
Lloyd Ritchie, Mick Atley, Tyler Hillier and Lee Pattinson were too good on their way to a 22-16 victory, while Col Knuckey’s rink including Winnie Pattinson, Bill Young and Tony King claimed a similarly solid win, 24 shots to 17.
