“We have been building for several weeks now after some very close defeats in recent weeks,” senior coach Ash Morris said.
“Last week against Barooga things just clicked and we played some of our best football of the year.
“We know we have been very consistent with what we wanted to achieve and this week it was evident the hard work is paying off,” he said.
The Rams jumped out of the box with Angus Durnan kicking the first three goals of the game, and it was evident the entire team was switched on.
“It was a close first quarter. But we kept the momentum up and maintained the pressure resulting in a comfortable win,” Morris said.
Durnan was supplied with silver service all day and eventually finished with eight goals.
The back line was controlled by Lachie MacDonald, Tom Dowling, and Cable Fitzpatrick.
The youngsters once again stood up and continue to impress.
“Let’s enjoy the bye this weekend lads and aim to finish the year with a couple more wins,” Morris concluded.
