The Clear Lifestyle Support Jackpot Bowls is now on twice a week, with a Sunday fixture being added to Wednesday’s regular outing.
Last Wednesday, Lyn Hardcastle and Tony Danckert were the leading combination with two wins and plus 36 shots, after only losing on two ends for the day.
Ella Hipworth then had her chance at the $1800 jackpot, but her failed attempt left $1850 on offer on Sunday.
There was a very healthy turnout for the first foray into Sunday, and close games were the order of the day.
When the dust settled it was Mick Atley, Chris Shaw and Craig Hillier who claimed the spoils with one win and a draw with plus 22 shots.
The evergreen Lloyd Ritchie then had his name drawn for his crack at the cash jackpot of $1850 (as if he needs it!), but when he missed the joker.
It means there is $1900 up for grabs after play tomorrow.
On Wednesdays, it is names in by 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
On Sunday’s it is half an hour earlier, with noon nominations for a 12.30pm start.
