Amelia Seignior (captain) – C, WD, GD – Affectionately known as Min, she’s a legend of the game and clearly missed the memo about slowing down. Dominant through the mid-court and just as comfortable in defence, Min brings experience and grit, and we’re not saying she can leap tall buildings in a single bound, but we know she’d get pretty close.
Annie Harvey – C, WD, GD – Annie dominates any position she steps into, on court or off. After 15 months sidelined, she’s back in the thick of things, bossing the cucumbers and guarding the secrets of the refuel box like a pro.
Bec Biggs (captain) – GA – After spending the first half of the season filming a travel doco for Netflix (or so the rumour goes), Bec rolled back into town six weeks ago, just in time to shake off the cobwebs after 18 months away from the game. She found her mojo two weeks ago against Rumbalara. So defenders, consider this your warning - Bec’s back.
Bonnie Everett – GS, GA, GK – Bonnie stepped into the number one shooting spot this season and hasn’t skipped a beat. Though she insists she’s not at her best without a good tan. With a towering reach and hands like a vice, she’s a real presence under the post. If we’re heading deep into finals, Bonnie will be right in the thick of it, bronzed and brilliant.
Ella Harvey – WA, GA, C – Ella’s a lightning-fast mid-courter who can just as easily step up and shoot the lights out when the team needs a spark. Whether she’s feeding, defending, or sneaking into the circle, she’s near impossible to pin down, slipping through gaps like a mouse in your kitchen. And let’s be honest, she’s only really playing hard for that post-game choccy milk.
Ella Park – GD, GK – Our tall, key defender with a reach that goes for days, She’s not just a wall at the back, she loves pushing up through the mid-court to spark the attack. And when she’s not out throwing sheep, she’s hurling a Gilbert with just as much force.
Emma Parks – GK, GD, WD – Emma might be the baby of the team, but she’s held her own all season in key defensive roles. A quiet achiever, our resident pick-off queen lets her netball do the talking. Though we hear she’s gearing up for a new role as a soon-to-be aunty, ready to be a responsible role model.
Eve Gregor – GK, GD – Eve is a calm, calculated defender with a vertical leap that’s nothing short of elite. She has a knack for creeping up on attackers like a lioness on the hunt - silent, sharp, and absolutely deadly when it counts.
Keely Mitsch – GA, C, WA – Keely’s a light-footed mid-courter turned goaler who’s stepped up her game this season, effortlessly linking with any teammate thrown her way. And when it comes to long bombs, let’s just say Steph Curry might want to take notes.
Makhaya Mitsch – C, WA, WD – It’s not a proper game of netball until Makhaya hits the deck. She’s an ambo now, so she’s pretty comfortable with a bit of scrapes and spills. Whether she’s diving for a loose ball or throwing herself into an intercept, she loves the chaos and isn’t afraid to get a little messy, on or off the court.
