The Chris Waller trained four year-old ($10) outstayed stablemate Sur La Mer in the Benchmark 72 (1400m).
Waller had five runners in the nine-horse field including short priced pair Starman and Sacrimony, both unplaced.
Toomuchtobear, four wins from eight starts, had not raced since winning over 2000m at Kembla Grange in September.

Fireburn signalled a bright future with a strong win in the Two Year-Old Handicap (1200m).
The Gary Portelli trained filly was fourth at Warwick Farm at her only previous start.
The Bopper resumed from a spell to win the Benchmark 78 (1000m), his fourth success at start eight.
The four year-old had not raced since a fourth at Flemington in February.

Gentleman Roy had a two lengths margin in the Benchmark 70, the fastest of four 1400m races.
Gentleman Roy ($6.40) was a Coming Winner selection after resuming with a Geelong win.
The So You Think five year-old has won three from six starts.
Four year-old mare Rose Quartz has had only five starts for three wins.
Three year-old Squid Game, unbeaten after two runs, came from last to score in slow time. Rose Quartz was eight lengths faster.
Scorched Earth has a touch of class and likely Gold Coast Magic Millions runner next month. She was second in Blue Diamond fillies’ prelude in February.
Staying prospect Gypsy Goddess continues to impress in Brisbane.
The unbeaten three year-old had a 3sfr3/4 lengths margin in a Group 3 Stakes (2100m) at Eagle Farm.
