The Deniliquin Rams seniors outfit faced a determined Congupna side in the Murray Football League on Saturday.

The experienced Congupna outfit gave Deni an extremely hard-fought contest.
With many momentum swings, the Rams were able to remain composed in the last quarter to hold on to a narrow lead and come away with the win.
The win was soured, however, with the news that star midfielder Reid Crowe looks to have suffered a serious knee injury.
He is much loved by the playing group and our thoughts are with him during his recovery.
Angus Durnan set up the win for the side with four first quarter goals, whilst young gun Charlie Hillier's contest and courage over the footy was outstanding.
Skipper John Anstee played a terrific captain’s game, while Clay Howe showed poise and tenacity on the wing.
This Saturday the Rams face an in-form Numurkah outfit, who like Deni are fighting to cement a spot in the top six.

In difficult, windy conditions the Deni Rams’ reserves fought out a 10 point victory in what was the toughest game of the year for the group.
Logan Ives and Jack Tyndall stood out in the middle with their hardness around the footy, dominating the clearances.
Defenders Tristan Fitzsimmons, Luke White and Lachie Marshall stood out in defence and kept the side in it with consistent one on one wins all day.
Veteran Shane Werner was lively up forward booting three goals in a low scoring affair, with Ben East and Aiden Free being the other goal kickers.

After a solid week on the track, the Deniliquin Rams thirds outfit were keen to get a win on the board.
Conditions were tricky with a strong breeze to one end, however the side were up for it. A great first quarter saw Rams establish a handy lead.
Things really clicked into gear from there, with their midfield dominating and presenting their forwards with numerous opportunities.
The first year players were relishing the opportunity to get involved, with a number of them hitting the scoreboard.
A great four quarter performance saw a comfortable win for the side.
