After it was locked away for more than three years the famous Blue Jacket was handed out to the winner of the Mooroopna Masters on Saturday.
Eastwood Golf Club’s Tom Ryan finished one-under par in the 36-hole event at Mooroopna Golf Club in stifling hot and blustery conditions.
Ryan shot rounds of 76 and 69 on the par 73 course.
A highlight of the young gun’s day was when he drove the green on the 332m par four 14th hole.
Mooroopna club captain Steve Nioa said despite the hot conditions everyone enjoyed a memorable day.
“It was fantastic to finally hold the event again, there was a real buzz around the place,” he said.
“The course was looking great and the staff did an unreal job.”
News photographer Megan Fisher attended the Masters and captured plenty of action.
