A highlight on the local sporting calendar and a key fixture on the PGA Tour of Australasia, the Deniliquin Legends Pro-Am is presented by Edward River Council.
It promises two days of thrilling competition and community participation.
Professional golfers will compete for a prize purse while teaming up with amateur players in a dynamic format.
The tournament is a unique opportunity for local golfers to play alongside PGA professionals in a three person ambrose competition, while the pros play a traditional stroke round.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Edward River redgums, flora and fauna, the Deniliquin Golf Club offers a picturesque and challenging course that attracts players and spectators from across the country.
The event is proudly supported by council and local businesses, showcasing the best of Deniliquin’s hospitality, natural beauty, and sporting spirit.

Deniliquin Golf Club general manager Sophie Kelly said it will be a big few days of golf.

Monday, October 27:
• PGA Seniors NSW Open Pre-Qualifier - Professional golfers aged 50 and over will compete in an 18-hole tournament for a coveted spot in the NSW Seniors Open.
• Welcome dinner - Join for a buffet-style dinner and presentation ceremony from 6.30pm, celebrating the achievements of the competitors. It’s a chance to mingle with legends of the game in a relaxed and festive setting. Tickets are $30 per person.
Tuesday, October 28:
• Deniliquin Pro-Am Tournament - player registration begins at 9.30am, with tee time at 11.30am. The barbecue will open at 11am. Spectators are welcome to attend and enjoy the action as it unfolds across the course. The day will conclude with the presentation of awards and prizes from 5pm.
In addition to the on-course excitement, visiting PGA members will be offered an exclusive ‘off-the-green’ tour of Deniliquin’s signature sights prior to tee-off, hosted by ERC. This will highlight the region’s unique charm and tourism offerings.
