The athletic prowess in a few of the Edward Public School’s families were on show at the school’s recent athletics carnival.
A few of the same surnames cropped up when it came to the presentation of age champions and runners-up.
The Ives, Thommers-Norris and Merharry families all had mulitple winners on the day.
When it came to the overall day, the school said everyone performed well.
“It was great to see everyone doing their best as they ran, jumped and threw,” the school said.

Age champion results were as follows:
Junior Boy: Champion - Jaxon Ives; Runners-up - Taj McCully, Koopa Mitchell and Levi Thommers-Norris.
Junior Girl: Champion - Isabella Goodear; Runner-up - Meg Meharry.
11 Year Boy: Champion - Oliver Ives; Runner-up - Jacob Thommers-Norris.
11 Year Girl: Champion - Nina Glowrey; Runners-up - Harper Taylor and Helen Fevaleaki.
Senior Boy: Champion - Lincoln Meharry; Runner-up - Thomas Ives.
Senior Girl: Champion - Georgia Daniels; Runner-up - Ella-Rose Hattwell.
