Hot day on the courts

“We did have quite a few players competing in Albury for the regional Matchplay series (RMS) end-of-season Champions of Champions event.

“This gave our up-and-coming green ball kids the opportunity to show their ability in section one.

“It’s a great opportunity to experience competitive matches against strong competition.”

The section one matches were a little one-sided as a result, but it still saw some great matches between Murray Darling Flights and Intersport Deni and Rivbeef Rippers and JC Earthworks.

Murray Darling Flights ended up winning ten sets to four with Olivia Armytage winning three to have an outstanding day.

Rocky Sztejman and Logan Andrews also won three sets to help their team to a big win.

The other game saw Rivbeef Rippers win easily over JC Earthworks, 12 sets to two.

Enzo Sztejman, Travis Hanns, Bella Muldoon, Amy Doherty and Annabelle Hanns all won their three sets.
